A new ad for the United Church of Christ has been rejected by CBS and NBC as "too controversial".

The "too controversial" part appears to be the fact that the ad is inclusive of gays.

Just so we're all on the same page:

Ads showing legislators morphing into Osama bin Laden are no problem.

Commercials discussing pharmaceuticals that correct erectile dysfunction...just fine.

An ad showing two men/two women going to church together is just too much for the American people to handle.
