Slaughterhouse Five: Pick yer poison
As promised, Kevin, Jeff and myself chose five. Now it's your turn. Here's the links to the various pieces accompanied by a short summary.
You might want to pour yourself a drink before venturing further. Or a stick to bite down on.
Let us know in comments which you think is most deserving of slaughtering on Monday here at PK.
This week's S5 nominees are:
1. Linda Kimball's hate filled screed about liberals and homosexuals. She also throws in some stuff about communism and abortion..just to mix it up.
2. David Broder's column from Sunday's Washington Post. Broder proposed that Democrats should abandon the threat of filibustering Bush's nominees because the Republicans are in the majority. Shorter Broder: "Majority rules..neener neener".
3. Rob at SayAnything blog with this drivel, whining about a Republican State Senator from Minnesota who was outed himself as gay after having voted against a gay marriage bill.
4. Kevin at Wizbang writes about the gay State Senator in Minnesota too. Their spin sets up a scenario where blogger Mike Rodgers knew about it..so Koering came out because of Rodgers knowledge. The really inane part is...it never occurs to Kevin what a big freaking deal it is to Republicans when one of their comes out as gay.
5. I've saved the "best" for last. The consistently whacko BronxPundit writes a navel gazer asking why Republicans don't just eradicate the courts and the "liberal" judiciary.
Read 'em and weep...then pick your poison.
