The UN sucks..but Uzbekistan is hunky dory

In case you didn't get the memo, all us good Americuns are s'posed to hate the UN.

You know the drill. Get out of the UN, corruption is rampant...blah...blah...blah.

But Team Bush is perfectly tickled to be arm in arm with Uzbekistan despite the government murdering hundreds of Uzbeki citzens in May.

It seems the Uzbeki government has an ace in the hole: the K2 Airbase.

Bush's approach to spreading freedom and democracy is mighty unusual. Partnering with the Saudis who consistently do things to hurt their citizenry and with the Uzbeki government..who murder theirs.....this is going to make everyone want to be just like us.

Just so you've got the score...the UN is bad and awful (even though they do great things all over the world to help people.) But the murdering government of Uzbekistan has our full support.

Proud of yer Preznit yet?
