Yup:

President Bush’s approval ratings hit a series of new lows in an AP-Ipsos poll that also shows Republicans surrendering their advantage on national security — grim election-year news for a party struggling to stay in power.

Its about time the rest of the country caught up to what so many of us have been saying for years: the GOP has demonstrated a complete incompetence in every aspect of governance. That includes national security.

Its just too bad that so many people have had to lose their lives for the country to come to terms with it.
