Hate is not a family value
Religious Right commenter Tammy Brotton says,
A christian company has a right to campaign for her belief and support of a candidate more than a gay person would who owned a company
There you have it. Blatent, in-your-face, unapologetic bigotry.
Update: The proverbial pink elephant in the room which nobody wants to talk about is the fact that Tammy is not a Christian.
Jesus said that what one does to the "least of these" one does to Him.
Now some would argue that Jesus was talking about fellow believers when He referred to "brothers" and that this wouldn't apply to gays since they are sinners. Even if we grant Tammy this exceedingly narrow interpretation we are still left with Jesus' statement, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Which was from an incident involving a sexual sinner who at that point hadn't repented and the entire group was made up of Jews - the Chosen people of God (i.e., fellow believers at that point in time).
And even if we grant Tammy her implied interpretation that homosexuality = sin, that still doesn't even address the fundamental premise of the Bible that there is only one unpardonable sin which irrevocably severs one from God and redemption - rejection of the Holy Spirit. And unless she's claiming to be part of the Godhead, there's no possible way that she is in a position to judge whether anyone other than herself has committed the unpardonable sin.
Thus no matter how Tammy and her ilk wish to argue the subject of homosexuality and civil rights, they are condemned by the very Book they claim to be obedient to.
