Play Along with Stephen

My favorite show on television is the Colbert Report, and one of the best segments is when Stephen Colbert interviews members of Congress. So it was with great dismay this morning when I read that Rep. Rahm Emanuel has told freshman Democrats to avoid the show because "it's a risk and it's probably safer not to do it." What's wrong with seeing our elected representatives' unpolished, human sides? What's wrong with having a little fun? Who wants their representatives to be a bunch of stiff, perfectly coifed politicians, anyway?
