A Public Note To Dave Mowry From A Resident of Oregon SD 24

Dave:

Boy, am I mad. You see, I just read this post over on Blue Oregon by the inimitable Kari Chisholm.

Tsk, tsk, sir. Also, two words, in the working-class argot of the British: sod off.

I am a resident of Senate District 24, currently ably-represented by Rod Monroe. I am fine and satisfied with Rod Monroe. But judging by this sort of stuff:

OK, why does this stuff matter? Isn't this sort of thing that happens in all campaigns? Yeah, but check it out: Dave Mowry hasn't raised a single dollar for his campaign in 2010. He's essentially outsourced his entire campaign to Kevin Mannix -- the former chair of the Republican Party, and two-time GOP candidate for Governor. That's why this matters. Dave Mowry is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kevin Mannix.

With what Kari's turned up, which smells, sir, at least I don't have wonder what sort of imbecile you take me for.

Taking this personally? You bet I am. Dave, I don't trust Kevin Mannix. Since you take Kevvy's money to run a sordid campaign, I not only don't trust you now, I never will trust you. If I met you on the street and shook your hand, I'd check to see if I still had it after retrieving the arm.

Just for the record, Dave, I am not some easily swayed low-information voter. I am, as a matter of fact, a vote you didn't have much chance of getting – and now you never ever will. You must hold the entire population of SD 24 in well-veiled contempt, if you run a campaign like this.

At least run as what you really are, and lose honestly.

I think you'll agree with me when I note how ironic it is that a Republican once said "You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time".

And I don't care if you re-registered as Democrat, you take Kevin Mannix's money, you're a Republican.
